Our Mission

Befogadlak

The Foundation’s primary scene is the ’Befogadlak’ (’I take you in’) community house, which is open to all from Tuesday to Friday afternoon, until 5 o’clock.

FOR LITTLE ONES

In the afternoons the house is filled with children and our staff help them to study, do their homework, and then they have the opportunity to play and craft together.

OUR MOST IMPORTANT POLICIES:

„Learning from playing, we learn by playing.”

After all, the child gains most of his or her experience during play. The toolkit of games and
experiental education provides an opportunity for us to help the children to achieve success
individually, in pairs or even in groups but in any case they learn and develop by playing.

Through crafts, games that develop various competencies, dance or even carrying out
computer tasks.

We organise groups of 5-10 students per class for year 1 to 3, who beside doing their homework also play a variety of group games to deepen the knowledge of what they have learned in school.

FOR THE OLDER ONES

For the older ones the gym hall provides opportunites for sports, football and exercise.

But what our youngsters love most are the more informal programs, outings, camps.

FURTHER EDUCATION

We place great emphasis on ensuring that as many disadvantaged young people as possible continue their education after completing primary school.
We help them with their studies and we also try to encourage them through scholarships to get a profession or A-levels.

THE SCHOOL OF OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM

We would like to provide an opportunity for those adults who have the desire to study and they could not finish their primary school education. We help them to complete their missing class levels.

Fortunately there are always some adventurous adult who want to achieve A-levels and our teachers are happy to assist them preparing for the exam.
